Fused glass has become another large part of the studio in the last decade. I first started producing fused plates & platters and moved back to my first love - flowers! As a window designer for forty-plus years, I found that creating Botanicals in a new form was my true expression of art! My botanicals are created using glass powders and frit, sifting the powders into desired shapes, and when kiln-fired, they are thin pieces of glass. The complex process of layering, multiple firings, bordered with a finished beveled and stained glass border, has now become our own unique signature work.
