We are now offering classes and workshops in stained glass:  Fall Series - August 22 - 24   September 19 - 21   October 17 - 19

Beginner through Intermediate  $375

Friday - Saturday  -  Sunday  10 am - 5:30 pm   Materials are included for a 1.5 sq. ft. predesigned pattern.  The lesson includes all facets of construction:  pattern layout, glass cutting, copper foiling, soldering techniques and tool selection.

The workshops are designed to be intimate learning experiences.  Each class will have a maximun of 4 students.  The class size will allow intensive instruction to each student while making their project. 
There will be a variety of designs to choose from.  We do not work from the standard pattern book design, but from the studio's own personal stock.  If you have a special request for a custom design, Karen Caldwell will design a custom pattern for you to suit your needs.  An additional design fee will be charged for this additional service. 
The designsd presented in class will be classic florals, geometrics, traditional curlicues, Celtic knots and abstracts.  The emphasis will be on glass cutting techniques in a variety of shapes.  Geoff Caldwell, with more than thirty years of experience, will personally explain the techniques of cutting intricate curves in glass and the special tools he uses to help in breaking out the glass.  Construction of the panels will be in the copper foil technique.
